On August 19th another little precious gift was added to our family. Rachel Ann Wells joined us!

We were amazed at how much hair she has! Steve and I went to stay with Colin when Jen went to the hospital. We got there at 3 am, then waited for Colin to get up and headed to the hospital. I will never forget the joy and anticpation on Keith and Jens faces! Thank you God for letting me be a small part of that joy! We went home on Friday, that was hard for me. I just wanted to stay and experience it all! We got a hotel the next weekend with Becky and Shawn and the kids and celebrated Shawn's birthday with a great hotel room! And the next day we visited with Keith, Jen, Colin and Rachel. What a fun couple of days.

The next day, Steve took the day off and surprised me with a little get away to Shipshawana. The hotel was... well lets say.....no, lets NOT say! ha ha

We had a great time together though, shopping and relaxing!

August was a fun month for birthdays too. We celebrated mom's 80th birhtday with a family get together at Chuck and Loris. It was so good to see everyone and reconnect a little. It was also Debs birthday that day!
