I can hardly believe the wedding is tomorrow! Rehearsal this evening will be fun!
Yesterday I stopped by to see Andrew at work with a diet coke, he looked so grown up, my little boy is a man now! When he was born, I had a friend tell me to enjoy the little boy things, the cars, the trucks, the blue blankets, because these things would soon be replaced by cars and houses and a wife! At the time I remember thinking how silly that was, but here we are! I have enjoyed every car, every truck, every blue blanket, every football game, every track meet, every trumpet lessons and practice, every band concert, every jazz concert, every ride in the Monte! I've enjoyed every smile, every tear, every chance to sit and talk, every excited word when he would tell me about things he was thinking about for the future. I've enjoyed watching him and his dad working on "his" house, remolding, painting or whatever. So many memories are made just by sitting back and watching. And now this is a new path for him and Erika, and I will enjoy watching.. and praying for that once little boy who has filled my life with so much joy!
Congratulations buddy! Love each other every day with your whole hearts!
