Precious Sounds

When Adrianna was born, I used to sing "Jesus Loves Me" in her little ear everytime I saw her.
When she was about 2 1/2 I was putting her to bed one night and started to sing the song, as I always did, and she started to sing it right along with me. When we were done, I asked he if she would sing it to me by herself. She did it! Becky and I started to cry and I'm sure she didn't know what she had done! How precious and blessed I felt that day. Today in talking with my own mom about memories and such, she made a comment that as your grandkids grow older, they soon forget you and you're just an old granny. I sure didn't like the way that sounded!
Maybe the grandkids grow up and don't realize how much a grandma loves and cares for them. So, I am asking if you are one of my kids could you please send both of your Grandmothers a card sometime this week? Call me if you need the addresses!!!!!! (just kidding) (click on the little arrow under the picture and make sure your sound is on..)

Our special song was always "I Love You a Bushel and a Peck". I thoroughly enjoy the relationship that Adrianna and Eliza have with you (and my Mom too), and there isn't anything you have to worry about! They will always have a special bond with you and Papa!

That is too cute! I still tear up when I hear that! I can't wait for the day when she gives her heart to Jesus. Thanks for being such a positive spiritual influence in her life! Love you!
